Ticklish

Am I ticklish?........
Well yes I am....but only at certain playful moments. Also be aware that I can ignore it most times.

Grenur The Assassin

Grenur is an assassin. Heading to town to complete his mission, he stops off at a tavern in a previous town.
There's a gentle breeze wisping through the leaves, as you walk down your lonely road of dreams, pondering what might have been. If you hadn't killed that Half-Dragon Knight. That is just what Grenur is thinking about. The two had met,(some town) in a pub drinking Elven wine. Why did I even go in there? I could have waited until I came to some other dive. But nooo....I decide to go into the first place I came too. Ignoring the fact that the sign was like new, and advertising Dragon Wine for 2 g.p. I was on a mission. I wanted a quick score. Hoping to spend a couple silver, and walk out with a few platinum in return.
As I walked in the smell of fresh baked pie engulfed my senses, then the smell of those thick, strong tasting, Ales from abroad called to me. Amongst the patrons was long coats, full plate armor, and the thought of gold. Every where I looked, there was Knights and Nobles, two of my favorite prey. What will be the scam for today? Is just my thought when I got interrupted by a soft voice, "What can I get you good looking?". She was like a dream, for being an Elf in all.
"I'll have an ale an bread.", I state very plainly, as I look out accross the tavern. The Elvin maiden paused there for a minute then replied," We have five kinds of ale, what is your preferance?".
"Really...I'll have something strong, yet smooth then.", I replied as I was watching the performer on the stage. They was doing some slight of hand stuff that I probuly could have done better. With as late as it is, this place was hopping. Two....no...three different card games were going, there was a group of amazons off to themselves, and then there he was all by his self. Just waiting to be played, it was like a gift from the Gods it was. After paying my three silver, one was for a tip, I began to move around the room.I made sure to keep an eye on the crowd, the workers, and of course the soon to be next best friend, that was about to lone, or lose to me some gold. This human was well dressed, like a Noble, or Duke perhaps.
I found myself an empty table in the corner, where as I can keep an eye on everyone, and plot my attack carefully. My mark is in sight, heck in easy reach, yet I have to not be seen. Now I could just wait until he leaves and mug him, but I am not a common thief, I am a trained assassin, I get payed well for a job well done, and completed early. Then it hit me, I'll wait untilhe goes to re leave his self, then I'll come up behind him, put a dart in his neck, and it will be over. Throw him in a corner with no light, and enjoy a nice elven wine to celebrate before I leave. That's good, I think that will work well. All proud of himself, Grenur watched and waited, then watched some more. Three shows on stage later, and his opportunity had come, his mark was on the move. Was he ....? Yes he is going out the back door. Wait! Out the back! He's not supposed to go outside, they have a wash house inside. Ooohh well, the fresh air would do me good. Outside I go. Out into the pitch black of night, where all the wild beasts play. But to my surprise, there he is looking at me. He was waiting for me. Looking all drunk as all get out, I start to speak," weell....hey....this isn't the wash house.....Who stole the wash house?.........Did you see who did it?", I asked with a slur and a stumble or two. With bewildered look, and a laugh, the human put away his sword and said to me, " You have taken a wrong turn my friend. You should have taken the left door, not the one straight ahead.". With that he helped me back inside, and showed me the way. I pretended to go andtake care of business, as I heard the door shut, "Do you always get like this?". In shock to hear the human talking to me, I acted like I wet myself. "what?!?...Who?....damn....I just dribbled down me leg.". Then a booming sound of laughter resounded through the wash house room, where as I wasn't laughing, but I was smiling. For here he was, ripe for the pick en, and I was about to harvest me a bounty. From here it was easy, I'll take out this noble, then head on to the next town where my job is supposed to be done. This is extra for me, a little side money never hurt nobody. Pretending to laugh, I stumble up to him, falling carefully not to knock us down. When he put his arms around me to keep me from falling, I stabbed him with my knife, It didn't take long for the poison to do it's job. I then took the dead noble and put him in the corner, and got his purse, a parchment, and two gems. As I was pocketing these items, "Hey....is your friend all right?", came a bursting voice from the doorway. In total shock, "Yes....yes he is fine,....just had a little too much to drink.", 'I hope he does his business and leaves.', I thought as I acted as to try an wake my dead friend up. "I think he hit his head when he fell. I may just let him sleep it off.", was my reply as I headed for the door. "Well I'll give you a hand.", came a cheerful....helpful......kind voice from the next stall." No! Really he will be fine....he does this all the time.", I laughed hesitantly, still heading for the door."Come on....it's no......", there was a look of total shock and horror on the mans face when he looked up at me," this man is dead!".I ran out the door and turned left heading for the exit, when booming louder than the thunderI hear, " Help!!...Dead man!!!....To your arms....it is Sir Drake. Drake is dead!!", with that a small smile crept onto my face, that will be something for my book. Off down the street I went, hiding in the shadows like I was taught, and creeping around every corner, better than I learned. None could find me. By the time the morning light came, I was almost to my next job.The one that I am actually being paid to do.'.
In the early morning light, Grenur was sipping some ale, an eating bread. Off in the distance he could hear the sounds of horses coming his way. He quickly broke camp, and headed for the road. His hope was to appear tired, and to a certain degree lost. I start stumbling down the road like I have tied a good one on. Momments later three horseman approach from behind.
"Hail! Yon traveler. Where ye be heading?", asks a well dressed man.
" I be heading to the nearest town good fellow.", I replie with a hint of exaustion.
The horseman stop to converse with me for a minute. But they don't dismount.
"You have half a days travel on foot...yet we have a wagon following behind us. If you wish, you may ridewith them."
"That would be greatly appreciated.",I reply with a faint smile.
"Fair thee well then.", states the man as him and his two fellow riders take off.
"Harold! You head back to the wagon and inform them of there guest.".

Game Work

So now I get to start working on our game at Mernac. This is going t be so much fun. My first undertaking is going to be a plot involving a druid, needing to have some hurt animal returned.
The druid can't leave the grove because of having to help heal, and calm other towns folk......
Also working on our traddlebow series, making them playable by anyone. This is going to be so much fun going through the scrolls of Mernac, to find workable content. I've go so many ideas, so much reading to do, if this keeps up I may have to find an assistant. LOL!!

Surprise Surprise

It seems there was a visitor in my little world. I hope they injoyed their stay. If I had known there were to be guests, I would have put out some Honey Lavender Mead, or maybe some Dragon Wine. I do appollogize for the untidiness, hope for many returns from fellow Disciples.
Maybe a God or two may stop by, better uncover the furniture, so they can sit and stay awile.

Up date

With all the pressures of land dirt, my escape in Mernac, has also seen some strife. All I have to say is,"Grow up people! Are we not adults?!?".
I myself get upset, but I try to at least know the facts, before I go and accuse some one of wrong doing. In such thought, usually I will question said person, to see if this situation may be just a misunderstanding. Did I get that? No! Said person went running their mouth, without respecting me, making matters worse than they really should be.
Ok, enough is enough, with that said the weight on my mind is relieved some. I hold no ill feelings, only wish for an appology from said person. But let me take a moment, and thank my visitors, for the brief moment they were here has helped greatly. Thank You All!

Wolf takes on Dimatton

That's right folks! Wolf from Mernac is taken the persona of Dimatton. By the time the completed work is done, Dimatton will be an Elemental Master of lightning. This character is a challenge for me, eventhough as a Dungeon Master I have created numerous characters, this one has to be around for a long time.

Thanks to Serapella for the face to go with the name.

News

Theres a lot happening in the land of dirt. Well wishes for those in need, and prayers also. For me, it is trying times indeed, but alls well that ends well...right?

My life at Mernac has been busy, what else for a disciple, catching up on the scrolls of past. Adding my two coppers here an there, most times getting change back though. That's o k. For I am doing what I love to do, and learning also. I have started to tinker with daz3d, and bryce. I'm finding them fun and challenging. My character Dimatton, is coming along slow, but I am getting some help from my God Elsen, and Serapella is working on picture for him. Soon I won't be faceless around Mernac.

Discipleship

As time goes by, I read more and more great stories at mernac. I am working on finding reference materials for the d20 section, plus writing up my character Dimatton. He is in the study of static arts. Electrifying. We have some great talent.
Quont, the God of Lust, asks about simple pleasures. I chuckle, I smile, I even shed a tear. As the simplist pleasure to experience is to be with my loving family. You see for me, most of my life I have been alone, haven't seen my parents since being a young child. Theres been a lot of hatred, and missed emotions, that now I get to experience. With all the trials and tribulatons that come my way, I look into loving eyes, and it all just melts away. So my answer is my family, a loving wife, a beautiful daughter, and a handsome son.

Today I find myself buried under paper work. Most of which has to be done for me to get paid, but the best is that I am working on for Mernac.com Here I travelled one day to what there was, and now here I am a disciple. I share thoughts and insight as do the other disciples, and our Gods, to create an ongoing high fantasy wolrd of magic, mystery, and intrigue. In my new position I shall be searching the archives, scrolls, and art for info for our d20 section. Here today I shall thank Terees for giving a drink of her Honey Lavender Mead. Such sweet intoxication indeed.

The Beginning

Here in this world you will follow a few characters, the first being Lonor, a ranger with attitude, go figure. Lonor, like most rangers tend to keep to themselves. He loves nature of course, and trusts animals more than his own family. When he was very young, about seven, he seemed to have a special connection to nature. Always knowing well in advance of the coming rain. Lonor has had aninteresting life thus far. You see our ranger from the wild woods of Teegin, has always had to deal with loneliness. He was around five years old when he had to deal with the death of his mother. His father, Daggert, tried his best to raise his son right. But found it hard to do, when he was always away fighting bandits and the like. Daggert wasn't much more than a rancher protecting his, family and land. Lonor was outside playing one afternoon, while his grandmother was working in the garden.
Lonor knew something was wrong, he just didn't know what. He tried to tell his grandmother how he felt, but she had no time for his childish, imaginative stories. With no one to listen, he headed off into the woods, to try and find his pa. His horse Treg, was carrying Lonor as fast as he could, Lonor figured they would have to travel about three miles if he remembered his fathers story right. Treg knew something was up, he could sense it in the little rider on his back.

What Brought You To Mernac?

I was looking for another way to share with others my creative thoughts. I have been a gamer for
a lot of years, and honestly was looking for ideas for one of my games, when I fell into this gaping
mass of ideas, art, and creativity. The more I explore the world, the more I need to create the world.

Go Pebbles

That's my girl. She's my inspiration. Can anyone guess who she may be for Halloween? Oh yea,
by the by, her mother and I got married on that day. How could I forget my anniversary then?

Hello World

This is Wolf here welcoming you to my world. In future posts you will find writing worth reading.
But for now, I'll just tell you something about me........Let's see......Oooohh... I know..... How about
I like to have fun, read, write, and play games. Up until recently though, I haven't found a good means to do all the above. But now I have. I am working on three major projects for me.
1) I am an intern for a gaming site-I search game facts, pictures, and find those ever sought after
game codes.
2) I am a D M ( Dungeon Master), on and off line for myself, and on line for Mernac.com
Check it out if you like to game, read fantasy, or just like great art.
3) Then I started this little area. Where I can write about what means most.
As you can see, most has to do with gaming, but there will be other things posted as well.

First one

Just started this today. Had to find somewhere to hide. Their all looking for me. Shhhh..... don't tell
and we will be just fine. Do you like fantasy? I sure do. I have been a Dungeon Master for years. Now I'm going to start this little thing to tell some of those stories from my games. Also I will offer
advise to new D M's, if they want.Well that's it for my first one.
